Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is the oldest and largest children's and family nonprofit literacy organization in the United States. RIF's highest priority is reaching underserved children from birth through 6th grade. RIF provides 4.5 million children with 16 million new, free books and literacy resources each year.
Scholastic Book Fair/Reading Night- Book fairs are a great way to raise money for our library and books into the hands of students. Our Book Fair will be held on Oct. 5-11, 2018.
The Texas Bluebonnet Award (TBA) reading program was established to encourage Texas children to read more books, explore a variety of current books, and identify their favorite books. TBA voting takes place at the end of January.
