    Enrollment:  W. T. White is the 2nd largest high school in Dallas ISD with an enrollment of approximately 2400 students. Our diverse student body is comprised of students from across the Dallas area, including transfer students currently enrolled in our academies and pathway and many foreign exchange students.

    Our athletic and academic competition teams compete in the Texas UIL 9-5A district. District 9-5A includes W. T.White (DISD), Skyline (DISD), Sunset (DISD), Jesuit (Private), Berkner (RISD), Pearce, Richardson HS (RISD), and Lake Highlands (RISD)

    Academic Performance: The Texas Education Agency accountability system was revised beginning with the 2012 – 2013 schoolyear. Texas public schools receive one of two designations; Met Standard or ImprovementRequired. Schools earn Distinction Designations in three areas: Top 25% StudentProgress, Academic Achievement –Reading, and Academic Achievement-Math

    W. T. White’s 2012-2013 achieved an accountability rating of Met Standard with two Distinctions for Academic Achievement in Reading and Mathematics

    Advanced Placement Courses: We are proud of the number and diversity of our Advance Placement program. The following courses are currently available: Art History, Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, English III, English IV, European History, French Language, French Literature, Human Geography, Macro Economics. Micro Economics, Physics, Psychology, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Statistics, Studio Art, U. S. Government and Politics, U.S. History, and World History.

    Athletics:  W. T. White offers a wide variety of UIL sports. Please see our specific sport’s links on our website for tryout and coach’s contact information. Sports offered: Football, Tennis, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Swimming, Soccer, Wrestling, Track, Golf, Cheerleading, Baseball, & Softball.

    Clubs and Academic Teams:  We encourage students to become involved and connected to the larger school community through participationin our clubs and academically oriented student groups.
