Dr. Jillian Round served as a Theatre Director for Frisco ISD. She previously served as Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Texas at Dallas, and served as adjunct faculty for Brookhaven College, Collin College, and Instructor for SMU’s CAPE program. She’s lead undergraduate courses in animation, design, film, and technical theatre. In the past, she advised students in the Dallas Video Association’s annual 24 Hour Video Race. She also mentored and volunteered in community arts organizations such as Art Love Magic. Additionally, she served as guest lecturer at The Dallas Museum of Art’s Center for Creative Connections.
She is a practicing new media artist, having shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout Texas and the Southwest. Her research focuses on performance media, digital documentation, and art and politics.
