The Boone Family Foundation, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, and the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy have joined forces to bring a great program to Dallas.  Once Upon a Month will send a free book a month to families with children under the age of five who live in these Dallas zip codes:  75116, 75149, 75203, 75207, 75208, 75210, 75211, 75212, 75215, 75216, 75217, 75220, 75223, 75227, 75231, 75232, 75236, 75237, and 75241.

The family can choose to receive the books in English or Spanish, and they come with a parent guide.  The families will need to register online at http://www.ferstfoundation.org/Texas.  If computer access is not available, they can call 1-888-565-0177.
