    MARSALIS IS 6 FOR 6!!!!

    Congratulations to our Marsalis students and staff!! Marsalis has received a total of 6 out of 6 TEA Distinction Designations for the 2017 STAAR testing season. SIX distinctions is the highest recognition a school can receive from the state. We are super-excited and thank you so much for supporting your child and our school and community. Mustangs, you deserve a round of applause!!!

    Marsalis students and staff thank all of our fantastic Career Day speakers who spent time with our students on Career Day. It was an awesome experience and truly educational.     Congratulations to Jeremiah Wilson - 2018 DISD MLK Speech 3rd Place Winner

     

    We are pleased to announce fourth grade student, Jeremiah Wilson, was named Third Place Winner for the annual Gardere-Wynn Law Firm's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Speech Competition. He was selected from a field of 21 student speakers. Jordan was awarded a $250 savings bond, a Kindle, and several other gifts. Congratulations, Jeremiah!
