Celebrating Dallas ISD Soccer Success in 2021

A total of 21 Dallas ISD boys’ and girls’ soccer teams advanced to the 2021 Texas UIL State soccer playoffs, including Adamson, North Dallas, Pinkston, W.T. White and Wilmer-Hutchins, which each placed both their boys’ and girls’ teams in the playoffs.

Twelve of those teams won their bi-district game to reach the area round, including both the boys’ and girls’ teams from North Dallas, W.T. White and Wilmer-Hutchins. They were joined in the area round by girls’ teams from Pinkston, Roosevelt, Sunset and Woodrow Wilson and boys’ teams from Adamson and Kimball.

Kimball junior Jorge Morgado (12-5A) and North Dallas senior Bryan Coello (10-4A) were also selected as district MVPs. On the girls’ side, Woodrow Wilson senior Annabel Hett was the MVP of District 11-5A, while South Oak Cliff senior Jannet Cabrera and Roosevelt sophomore Logan Jacobs were the MVPs of Districts 12-5A and 10-4A, respectively.
