Black History Month exhibit features Booker students
February is acknowledged as Black History Month. To commemorate the outstanding contributions made by African Americans in various fields of endeavors, NBC 5, the Multicultural Arts Alliance, and the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will host an art exhibit entitled "Art Past and Present: From a Black Artist's Perspective" on Thursday, February 9, through Thursday, February 23, at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
Featured artists include Nathan Jones, James Kemp, Carl Sidle, and four exceptional art students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts:
Taylor Jenkins, Andrew Perez, Julie Torres, and Aleah Washington,
