Jennefer Ramirez not only teaches Dental Assisting at the School of Health Professions at Townview, but she is also a graduate of this program. She just finished her 8th year of teaching and has an incredible record in obtaining student certifications. For the past couple of years, her students have an 100% passing rate on both their exams for Registered Dental Assistant and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring. Explaining real life scenarios from 6 years working in the industry, being a graduate of the same program from where she now teaches, and providing encouragement in a place where a student can feel safe and special are some of the experiences she brings to her classes that are not taught in a textbook. Jennefer combines her passions for teaching and the profession to teach students “that patients shouldn’t be seen as transactions because as health care providers we can do so much more.”
