Message from Principal St. Ama

 Greetings Parents & Guardians!

This is an extremely unusual time for all us and I want to let you know that everyone at Lassiter Early College High School is 100% committed to the safety and education of your child! The staff has been working over Spring Break to ensure all student learning continues using laptops and online lessons.  Please refer to the LECHS Online Learning Expectations document posted on our website.  At this time, we do not know how long online learning will take place for the high school courses.  We do know that El Centro College will continue the semester with online courses will start Monday, March 30, through the end of April, perhaps longer.  I would like to urge you to make certain your child maintains a set schedule to focus on their assignments each day.  Attendance for the high school classes will be taken daily at the start of each class period.  Students should use their morning time to focus on their college assignments. We are asking for your help to ensure your child completes and submits their high school AND college assignments as they are due.  Many of you likely have questions and I encourage you to use the Dallas ISD link for additional information.  https://www.dallasisd.org/COVID19  All of us here at Lassiter ECHS appreciate your understanding during this uncertain time.  Together, we will get through these next weeks successfully!
