Hispanic Heritage Drawing Contest!

Congratulations, to our very own, Jose Inez Hernandez!  This 11th grade scholar won 1st Place in the Dallas Public Libary's annual Hispanic Heritage Drawing Contest!  Jose created a masterpiece in his drawing that reflected this year's theme: Folktales and Myths of the Hispanic World.   

Jose's entry has the possibility of being selected and submitted to the international competition of the Program for the Mexican Communities Abroad.  Jose was inspired and encouraged by Ms. LaSonia Evans, former teacher, and Ms. Chaney, librarian to submit his drawing and he won!
