Superintendent’s Scholarship adds to college funds of Dallas ISD seniors
Eighty-four outstanding graduating seniors have earned a total of $252,000 Dallas ISD Superintendent’s Scholarships.
Each recipient receives $3,000 to go toward costs at the college or university of their choice. Selection for the Superintendent’s Scholarship Program is based on need, character, grades, recommendations and the promise of future success. The scholarships are funded with proceeds from the annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament.
Nothing beats playing better than playing for a cause, and that’s the concept behind the Superintendent’s Scholarship Program. Thank you to the sponsors and participants who join us each year to help fund scholarships for our bright young students, all while competing in a good game of golf. For more than two decades, you have generously supported this annual golf tournament – giving a boost to deserving high school graduates as they head off to college while making an investment in the future of our community as a whole. We are forever grateful.
