Recently Adopted Community Advisory Committee Ethics Policy Statement (BDF Exhibit) - August 10, 2021

On August 10, 2021, the Superintendent of Schools’ Designee approved amendment of the following item:

BDF (EXHIBIT) BOARD INTERNAL ORGANIZATION – CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEES
In accordance with BDF (Local) all residents who serve on resident advisory committees are responsible for complying with the District’s ethics policies and federal, state, and local financial disclosure rules, and must disclose to the District in writing any conflict of interests. The Community Advisory Committee Ethics Policy Statement was created to ensure all residents serving on advisory committees acknowledge understanding and awareness of this requirement.

The above item has been sent to the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) for inclusion to the District’s “Policy On Line Manual.” Documents generally will post within a few weeks of adoption.
